Affiliated SocietiesThe American Orchid Society counts Community as a core value along with Education, Conservation and Research. AOS Affiliated Orchid Societies are a large part of that community. A local orchid society, along with AOS membership, is your best introduction to the fascinating world of orchids. At a local orchid society you will learn about growing orchids under your conditions and discover which orchids do well in your area. Monthly meetings often feature a program, sales and/or raffle table, education session and the opportunity to discuss culture and exchange plants.
