Lose Yourself In Our Enchanting Gardens

Visit the world headquarters of the American Orchid Society and discover the beautiful, exotic, complex world of orchids. Here you’ll find rare orchids growing as they do in the wild. Explore lush gardens woven throughout 3.5 acres and see exquisite orchids in our 4000 sq. ft. greenhouse. The stunning array of colors, shapes, sizes and fragrances are sure to capture your imagination and create an unforgettable experience.After touring the gardens, stop into the Orchid Emporium Gift Shop or enjoy orchid art exhibits in the lobby. Exhibits change each month and are free to the public.

2009 Educational Opportunities

Orchid classes are held on Saturday mornings throughout most of the year at the AOS. Come and learn regionally-tailored garden and orchid culture techiques from the experts. Most classes are reasonably priced but free classes are also available. Class sizes are limited and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you happen to be in the area...

The West Palm Beach judging center holds its monthly meetings at the AOS Visitors Center and Botanical Garden. On the fourth Saturday of each month at 2 pm, AOS accredited judges get together to evaluate the flowers brought in for their consideration. This is a wonderful opportunity to observe the judging process and learn exactly what makes a good orchid!
