and two buds on two erect inflorescences; sepals creamy white slightly blushed
cerulean; lip creamy white, lightly blushed cerulean under the column , darker
at margins, basal third of midlobe overlaid bright yellow, maroon stripes
emerging from under the column to margins, side lobes surround white column;
anther cap white; substance supple; texture sparkling; charming cerulean form
of the species; award granted provisionally under the name Arundina gramminifolia pending taxonomic verification as required
by 5.5.2.2 (1) of Handbook.



Arundina graminifolia (D.Don) Hochr., Bull. New York Bot. Gard. 6: 270 (1910).This name is accepted. Note Spelling!!!
