Hi Patricia,

We received a CBR this week at the Philadelphia Judging Center for our Bulbophyllum caudatisepalum. I understand that the SITF measurement form was submitted by the juding center, however I wanted to add a photo which may aid in identification. To the best of my understanding the main difference between B. flavescens and B. caudatisepalum is that caudatisepalum posses a bract or sheath that envelops the pseudobulb, leaf base and the base of the inflorescence. The attaced picture is a picture of the bract/sheath covering the pseudobulb and inflorescence on our plant. There is also a picture from the Swiss Orchid Foundation which may help as well.

Thanks!

Zach Wummer
