The species is the type section Lemniscatum- a group of rarely seen, deciduous miniatures; eighteen flowers on a 2.1-cm pendent rachis held at the top on an erect 15.4 -cm peduncle, wiry at base, thicken to three times the width apically; pseudobulb ovoid 2.3-cm tall, bifoliate when young eventually deciduous ; leaves lanceolate 6.2-cm long by 1.4-cm wide; plant grown a cork mount; dorsal sepal short, olive-green; lateral sepals translucent burgundy, extended into one centimeter long, flat obtuse filament; round hirsute petals and lip burgundy; substance and texture could not be verified; granted to potentially correct the record for prior CBR.
