Obtained in a mixed batch (35 plants) of Catasetum that were mostly mislabeled. Others from the group turned out to be pileatum, expansum, and incurvum. Came from White Oak Orchids of Pacifica CA about ten years ago when they were closing. Recently I realized that this could be a hybrid though when Fred Clarke saw it he only said it was a nice atratum.
