Award Description: Three hundred forty-eight flowers on 32 canes up to 49 cm long making a beautifully presented specimen at peak of bloom, flowered evenly and completely around the plant measuring 75 cm across and 49 cm tall, non-flowering canes artfully wrapped around base of plant, grown in a 31-cm matching colored plastic bowl in hydroton; sepals and petals white suffused pink-lavender; lip cream, veined purple in throat; substance good for species; texture matte, minutely velvet lip.
Labeled as Den. pierardii, which Kew labels a synonym of Den. aphyllum.
