Five charming flowers on 3 inflorescences up to 3.5 cm long borne individually from the base of each miniature growth of a three fan, 15 cm x 14 cm plant attached by its robust, coarse root system to an 8 cm wide by 18 cm long cork mount; dark green terete leaves less than 0.5 cm in diameter and up to 10 cm long; sepals and petals white faintly blushed delicate pink, darker pink mid-vein on reverse; spurred and hinged lip white, deep magenta striations on side lobes and in yellow throat, callus pale yellow; column pink, striped magenta basally, yellow at apex; substance medium; texture satin to crystalline; recognized as an attractive, recently described species native to Yunnan, China; confirmed by SITF
