Four flowers on one erect 48-cm inflorescence; leaves to 60cm long by 1cm wide, floral bracts chartreuse; plant grown in mix of perlite, coarse bark and charcoal in 16-cm diameter plastic pot; sepals chartreuse suffused oxblood, median darker oxblood; petals porrect, chartreuse suffused oxblood concentrated darker basally, median darker oxblood; lip chartreuse spotted oxblood, midlobe acutely reflexed; column white distally yellow, speckled oxblood ventrally, anther cap white; substance firm; texture waxy; commended for rarity in cultivation and color; plant indigenous to Indochina. Cymbidium cyperifolium subspecies indochinense is a provisional award pending identification by SITF.
