Award description: Two cupped dark maroon flowers on 2 short inflorescences to 1cm, growing basally on a 11.5 x12cm plant tied on a 4 x18cm stick; leaves to 6.5cm growing from a 0.3 x1.5 cm ovate pseudobulb; sepals and petals maroon, sepals tipped cream apically; lip darker maroon, column cream; substance heavy; texture glossy. Plant is from Orquides Amazonicas nursery from Peru. It is referenced in Jay Pfahl's orchid species list.
