Pleurothallis-perryi-Bryon-Rinke-JC/AOS-2020-10-11

Pleurothallis-perryi-Bryon-Rinke-JC/AOS-2020-10-11***Confirmed as Pleurothallis perryi (Nov 2020); identified with the assistance of Mark Wilson; based in part on the bright vein patterns on the sepals and petals and on the lip shape in the drawing compared to P. troglodytes and this flower; the lip is almost an exact fit with the drawing for P. perryi; per the description in the IOSPE, "may be recognized by the striped, long ciliate sepals and broadly ovate, ciliate petals and the transversely cordate-ovate lip".***

All the AOS awards look different than this one. Could the awarded ones be Pleurothallis troglodytes????
The lateral sepals are flat on the AOS awards and the margins are smooth.
This one has pubescent hairs on the sepals and petals.

Hey Bryon:

Yes, I do think its P. perryi - what made you doubt the ID?
