Brassavola-amazonica-2021-03-29

Brassavola-amazonica-2021-03-29***Determined to be Brassavola martiana, not Brassavola amazonica (July 2021); B. amazonica was a synonym for B. martiana until 2020 when it was then recognized by the WCSPF as a separate species; the strong, single ridge the length of the midlobe and the strong ciliate lip margin of this plant agrees with B. martiana better than B. amazonica; the original 2020 line drawing of B. martiana matches this plant and photo's of B. martiana in the IOSPE and OW closely match this flower.***
