Dendrobium-discolor-var-broomfieldii-2021-06-09***Determined not to be Dendrobium discolor var. broomfieldii, but an unknown hybrid (Aug 2021); while trying to explore the varieties of D. discolor, we reached out to Dr. Peter Adams, University of Melbourne in Australia; Dr. Adams and the Judging Registrar in Queensland believes this is not the species discolor, but is an unknown hybrid of two or three species; D. discolor has 5 keels on the lip, this plant has only three; D. discolor is almost always concolor, not this combination of colors; D. discolor does not have the wide width of segments that can be seen in this plant and var. broomfieldii is always concolor yellow; this is appears to be an unknown hybrid of several species, including D. discolor.***
