Approximately 180 nearly concolor flowers and 40 buds on 20 inflorescences produced in clusters on 10 older deciduous canes of a robust multi-growth plant grown in a 15 cm terra cotta clay pot; leaved canes 1.0 cm diameter up to 65 cm long bear upwards of 15 medium green, 2.5 cm wide by up to 10 cm long lanceolate leaves; sepals and petals bright orange, fused for half of their length forming a mentum around the spurred lip; lip brigh orange suffused carmine medially; substance firm; texture matte; recognized as a distinctive species in the Pedilonum section closely related to Dendrobium bullenianum; native to the Philippines; confirmed by SITF
