Twenty-two stellate, slightly cupped flowers, on one 56-cm erect branched inflorescence on a 5 growth plant 7-cm wide by 48-cm tall, growing in a bark mix in a 10 cm plastic pot; five bifoliate 4-cm long conical ovoid pseudobulbs; leaves 44 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, leathery,  acuminate;  sepals and petals spatulate, gold overlaid bronze, green centrally; lip spatulate, white, pink tri-veined centrally, side lobes enclose column, apices winged; substance firm, texture matte. Species native to Panama; species published in 2014 (http://dx.doi.org/10.11646/phytotaxa.183.3.3); differentiated from the Encyclia chloroleuca complex both geographically and in floral coloration.  Plant obtained from Gaspar Silvara.
