Award description: Five flowers and 26 buds opening successively on one 28 cm upright inflorescence; a 38.5 cm tall lanceolate leaved terrestrial species grown in a 9 x 9cm plastic pot with soil mix of peat, perlite and fine bark; three basal leaves up to 2.5 cm wide by 12.5 cm long; flowers clear chrome yellow overlaid chartreuse-green, with two bilateral brown spots on reverse of hooded dorsal sepal; petals appressed inside dorsal hooded dorsal sepal; lateral sepals reflexed; lip bilobed; spur 0.7 cm, clavate; column white, horned projections from column; substance firm; texture matte; native to Thailand and Myanmar; recognized for rarity in cultivation and educational value.
