From Floralia orchids in Brazil. AOS award description: One chartreuse flower on one 4.0 cm basal inflorescence on a 9 growth plant, shriveled obovoid pseudobulbs to 1.0 cm wide and 3.0 cm long each topped by 2 stiff junciform leaves to 0.5 cm wide and 30 cm long; faint pink spots along margins of lanceolate sepals and petals; lip acuminate; anther cap mahogany; substance medium; texture satin. Found in orchid species encyclopedia as 147 under Maxillaria kautskyi.
