Paphiopedilum-philippinense-var-compactum-2022-05-31 *SITF confirmed as Paphiopedilum philippinense var. compactum (Oct 2022); variety compactum was validly described by Gruss et al. in the "Orchidee" (Hamburg) in 2008; it is distinguished from the type by the diminutive (tiny) plants with leaves less than 15cm long; this plant fits the description with a leaf length of 13.5 cm.*
