Awarded As: Paraphalaenopsis denevei
This flower received an AM as denevei, but it appears to me to have laycockii in it. I expected denevei to have much bolder red markings on the lip, so I am questioning this one.
Seven flowers on one 6.5-cm inflorescence; base color ivory, sepals and petals lanceolate, slightly twisted, overlaid pale green, overlay absent along margins resulting in picotee; sepals recurved at base, sepals light rose dusting proximally; petals inferior darker rose line; lip side lobes spotted red-brown basally, solid red-brown distally, tip white, keels pointed, yellow, midlobe narrow terminating in broad cuneate shape, spotted centrally; substance firm; texture matte.
