Stereochilus-[Ster]-erinaceus-AAA-2021-08-08***Confirmed as Stereochilus erinaceus (Aug 2021); this species and S. hirtus are very similar, but differ in that S. erinaceus has distinctive hairs on the pedicels and on the reverse side of the sepals, whereas in S. hirtus, the hairs are only on the pedicels; this plant shows the hairs on the sepals as illustrated in Seidenfaden and Smitinand's "Orchids of Thailand" (1959) as the synonym Sarcanthus stereochilus; and is also shown in a photo and description in Vaddhanaphuti's 2001 ed. of the "Field Guide to the Wild Orchids of Thailand.***
