Overview

Terrestrials. Stems very short. Leaves rosulate, usually two, elliptic, plicate. Inflorescences terminal pedunculate racemes. Flowers cupped, secund. Sepals and petals free, spreading, subsimilar, subequal. Lip three-lobed, spurred. Column short, without wings or foot; pollinia ##.

Etymology

Named to honor Chinese botanist H. T. Tsai who researched the flora of Yunnan.

Distribution

A monotypic genus endemic to China.
