Coelogyne-pangasinanensis-2023-12-17 *SITF confirms this plant is Coelogyne pangasinanensis (Jan 2024).
The species name is corrected to Coelogyne pangasinanensis to agree with Kew POWO. This plant is an excellent match to photos in OW, Orchidroots and the IOSPE, as well as the description in Vol. I of Valmayor's 1984 Orchidiana Philippiniana. The leaves are slightly longer, but all other aspects (pseudobulb size, etc) it is a good match. The plant is also an excellent match to Dendrochilum (Synonym) pangasinanensis in Cootes's (2011), "Philippine Native Orchid Species" including color and segment measurements.
