Three pumpkin-orange, cupped flowers and one bud on four upright, wiry inflorescences to 2-cm long; plant caespitose (cluster-growing), epiphytic, mounted on a 4-cm diameter tree limb, leaves broadly elliptic, 1.5-cm long x 1.0-cm wide, plant 5-cm wide x 3.5-cm tall; sepals elliptic, dorsal sepal hooded, lateral sepals sub-falcate; petals porrect, lanceolate, acute; lip lingulate, minute with erect basal lobes enclosed by fused lateral sepals; native to Costa Rica, ID confirmed by Franco Pupulin and Adam Karremans.
