Additional information Sobralia biflora

Dear Patricia,
This has nothing to do with Sobralia biflora, a species with narrower petals, magenta flowers, and surprise, surprise, two flowers at a time per stem apex.
This is part of the hybrid swarm described by Dodson as Sobralia gentryi. See the top photograph in Orquideologia 21(1):27. 1998. The middle photograph is a great example of the wacky world o' Dodson.
