Bulbophyllum sanguineopunctatum Seidenf. & A.D.Kerr, Dansk Bot. Ark. 29: 39 (1973 publ. 1974).This name is accepted.

Bulbophyllum sanguineopunctatum , Â award number 20116200, has been confirmed to
be Bulbophyllum sanguineopunctatum by SITF (July 2013). Doris Jensen was concerned this may also be a
hybrid based on the color of the column, but we felt color could be variable. It would be nice if somehow this could be
noted in the description but I am not sure how to do that.  One would end up putting a qualifier in many
ID’s.
