Description: Habit creeping epiphyte; roots thick, from
rhizomal nodes; rhizome elongated, c. 0.4 in diam.; pseudobulbs
4.0-5.5 apart, elongated conical, quadrangular, suffused brownish red,
unifoliate, to 4.0 x 0..85; leaves lanceolate, obtuse, fleshy, suffused
brownish red, to 11.0 x 2.1; petiole 2.8 x 5.0; inflorescence
arising from rhizomal nodes, single-flowered; peduncle to 20.0Â l.,
with c. 5 tubular, apex loose, acute, keeled bracts to c. 1.5Â l.;
floral bracts tubular, keeled, c. 2.1Â l.; pedicel and ovary mealy-spotted,
c. 4.8Â l.; flowers large, yellow with numerous brownish red dots
and flecks; dorsal sepal concave, ovate-elliptical, apex
elongated, caudate, acute, reverse and margins densely warty-papillose, inside
with fine hairs, midvein obtusely keeled on reverse, with c. 3 veins and many
lateral veins, all prominent on both surfaces, space between veins translucent,
c. 11.0Â l., basal portion c. 0.25 x 1.3, cauda c. 0.17 in diam.; lateral
sepals obliquely decurrent on column-foot, irregularly oblong, undulant,
towards apex elongated, caudate, folded, subterete, slightly twisted, acute,
reverse with dense fine hairs, inside with sparse hairs, prominent reticulate
venation, basal expanded portion c. 0.25 x 0.95, cauda c. 9.0Â l.; petals
small, parallel to column, straight, obliquely ovate-triangular, apex elongated
antenna-like, 2.35Â l., basal portion 0.75 x 0.15; lip strongly
recurved, fleshy, oblong-ovate, apex attenuated, obtuse, channelled medially,
in middle with two hairy ridges on rather side, c. 0.47 x 0.27; column compressed,
