From Cassio, previous descussions we have had on these species;

he says he classifies them like this

flowers in from may to august=lodd

flowers from oct to march = harr

this would be reversed for north America

harrisoniaes grow at sea level and some river valleys up to 500m

always on the edge of rivers in this case

loddigesiis grow >400 m and only in the inner country, they do not occur by the sea

lips have a different shape

although the sprout exactly at the same time

harrisonianas flower imediately as the bulb matures

whereas loddigesii enter a 6 month rest and flower only after that and before sprouting again

because of this detail, harrisonianas flower from a green spathe

whereas loddigesii the spathe withers during the rest, and they flower from a dry spathe

the color tends to be a lot paler in loddigesii,

not only the pink,the yellow in the lip is kinda pale

whereas in harrisoniana it is often bright yellow
