flowers emerging from the base of four growths; sepals and petals light
orange, overlaid light brown , sepals spotted red on proximal half;
petals finely spotted red on reverse; lip light yellow, overlaid orange;
spotted and blotched red-brown; column yellow botched dark -red brown ,
anther cap red-brown; substance heavy; texture waxy; endemic to Peru;Â
Christensonella huntii (Christenson) S.Koehler, Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 168: 455 (2012).This name is accepted.
