Three charming flowers arising sub-apically on one upright 1.0 cm inflorescence; 13 cm wide x 27 cm tall plant,grown in sphagnum moss in an 8 cm clay pot, consists of 8 slender, 0.6 cm diameter canes up to 27 cm long bearing 2.1 cm wide x 4.5 cm long lanceolate, entire leaves unevenly bilobed at apex; sepals and petals white; lip white, bright persimmon orange basally, striated light persimmon orange centrally, dark persimmon orange lightening to lemon yellow medially, side lobes persimmon orange along front margin, light persimmon interior of spur; column white, Granny Smith apple green basally; substance medium; texture matte; originally described in 1927, this attractive Sumatran species appears to be uncommon in cultivation; confirmed by SITF
