Five flat, hirsute flowers and two bud well held on eight strong, semi-pendent 18 cm successively blooming inflorescences, and an additional five immature inflorescences developing, presented on a vigorous specimen grown in a 10 cm wide x 8 cm tall plastic basket; sepals white, overlaid dark yellow-gold centrally, densely covered by white hairs, spotted mahogany centrally and apically coalescing into solid mahogany caudae; petals ivory, striped black centrally; lip saccate, pale pink, raised ridges on interior resembling mushroom gills; column and anther cap cream white; substance light; texture hirsute and matte; awarded due to level of culture and to stand as a good representative of the species; native to Colombia; confirmed by SITF.
