Encyclia-andrichii-Purple-Raze-2020-09-16Confirmed as Encyclia andrichii (Feb 2021); this species is very similar to E. kundergraberi, which is considered to be synonymous by the WCSPF; the very long, narrow leaves and small flowers fit the concept of E. andrichii and, although the inflorescence is not paniculate, as in the description, it most likely would be on a larger, more mature plant; this is an excellent match to the description and photo in Withner's "The Cattleyas and Their Relatives" Vol. VI.
