SITF confirms this plant as Epidendrum viviparum (Oct 2026). Epidendrum viviparum is accepted by POWO and is the closest match in the Group Coilostylis. The flowers and the plant appear correct even though it apparently has not produced an aerial growth. The species and this plant have a unique lip/column form. There is an excellent matching photo in the IOSPE at https://www.orchidspecies.com/coilvivipara.htm .
