·       Description: Sixteen slightly cupped flowers and seven buds on fife sequentially bloomed, branched inflorescences ; leaves 6.7 cm long by 1.7 cm wide borne on a flattened, ovoid pseudobulbs; plant grown on a coffee tree twig; flowers chartreuse, lighter on the lip and anther cap; white basal keel on lip; substance firm; texture waxy; plant endemic to Puerto Rico and the Leeward and Windward Islands; awarded provisionally as Leochilus puertoricensis M.W.Chase, Syst. Bot. 11: 242 (1986); charming miniature with possible use in hybridization of miniature Oncidium-alliance hybrids.Â
