Finding

SITF confirms this plant as Lepanthes declivis (Jan 2026). A Lankesteriana article by Juan Sebastián Moreno, et.al., "Four new species of Lepanthes (Pleurothallidinae) from the Southwestern Andes in Colombia" states, "L. declivis can be identified by its ovate and slightly convex leaves and long pedicels and ovaries, 2.0-2.5 and 4 mm long." there is also a matching photo of L. declivis. This plant also closely matches the photo and Luer's type drawing shown in the IOSPE, the leaf shape is correct and the successive flowering is correct.

Three flowers and two buds borne on segmented inflorescences, blooming sequentially on the reverse of the leaves of a plant 8.0 x 5.0 cm on a 6.0 x 4.5 cm tree fern plaque; leaves lanceolate 4.5 x 1.7 cm; sepals light yellow, translucent, mid-vein darker yellow; petals green-yellow, distal margin chestnut, lighter chestnut centrally; lip chestnut; column yellow, anther cap bright yellow; recognized for rarity and educational purposes.
