SITF confirms this plant as Lepanthes domingensis (Apr 2026). Note: corrected the spelling to agree with the POWO. Using the key to Lepanthes found in Hispaniola in Ackerman's "Orchid Flora of the Lesser Antiles" the sepals are not visibly denticulate, the dorsal sepal is more than 3mm; these are 4mm, the lip lobes are almost apiculate. This plant keys to L. domingensis. L. dondodii is similar, but the side lobes would have to be truncated and these are not.

Eight flowers and four buds on twelve inflorescences to 1.5 cm on a plant 9.0 cm wide x 5.0 cm tall with 15 growths growing within live moss on a 7.5 cm x 8.0 cm cork plaque; leaves ovate to 1.0 cm wide x 1.5 cm long, green, edged burgundy, underside blushed burgundy; flowers golden yellow, sequentially blooming on ramicauls emerging from leaf axils; sepals elliptic; petals semi-hastate, recurved, suffused red; lip hastate distally, red basally; column suffused red; texture crystalline; substance delicate.
