Finding
SITF confirms this plant as Lepanthes rubripetala (Feb 2026). Named for its red petals. Identification is based on the many photos on Orchidroots and other sources. It closely matches the L. rubripetala pictured on IOSPE. It appears to match the description in the IOSP although the "cilate ostia" on the sheaths were not visible in the photos.

One non-resupinate flower and two buds on two zig-zag inflorescences held under the 1.7cm x 3.18 cm ovate, light green leaves on stems 0.1 by 5.43 with nodes ranging from 08-1.5 cm. ; flower translucent chartreuse; dorsal sepal deltoid; lateral sepals lanceolate; sepal apices pointed lip cordate, bright red; column and anther cap bright red; substance firm; texture satiny.Additional Photos will be added later
