SITF has confirmed this plant as Lepanthes terpsichore (Jan 2023); matches a photo of L. terpsichore on Flickr by Bruno Larsen, a recognized expert in Lepanthes; the leaves of this plant are covered in bristles, which does not show in the drawing; however this trait is highly variable even on the same plant and is not considered a key characteristic; matches the drawing and photos on the IOSPE, the OW and the drawing and 11 photos in orchidroots.com.

One flower and two buds on six successively flowered inflorescences to 2.0cm on a 16 growth plant with three keikeis grown on a moss pad on a 9.0cm x 10.0cm cork plaque; ramicauls to 5.5cm with up to nine lepanthiform sheaths; ciliated ostia; single leaves to 1.5cm x 4.0cm long; new leaves purple becoming green, reticulated purple with three main purple veins, thickly coriaceous, hirsuite, elliptic-ovate, acute, sulcate medially, both halves convex; dorsal sepal green, suffused purple; lateral sepals green, lightly suffused purple. caudae crossed; petals dark purple, bright green picotee; lip green, suffused purple; column purple; anther cap yellow; recognized for attractive foliage and complex flowers.
