Plant epiphytic,  erect, small  for  the  genus,  caespitose;  ramicauls furrowed,  ca.  6  mm  long,
enclosed by  1-2 tubular, scariou s sheaths; leaf coriaceous, 3.5-4.5 em long, the blade lanceolate ,
acute  apically,  2-3  cm  long  and  1- 1.3  cm  wide , gradually  narrowed  into  the  furrowed  stem;
inflorescence  I-flowering; peduncle terete , slender, straight , ascending to  erect, ca.5  em long;
pedicel terete, ca. Â I cm long; floral bract tubular, close, scarious, acute apically, ca. 6 mm long;
ovary  ca.  4  mm  long,  6-furrowed;  flower  scentless;  sepals  glabrous  externall y,  cellularpapillose within , connate into a conical, laterally compressed , above sharp-angled cup ca. 3 mm
long, the cup  ca.  3.5  mm  in  diameter  in  front, free  part  of the  dorsal  sepal  oblong-elliptical,
concave except for the margins, abruptl y contracted into a slender, replicate , straight tail ca. 25 mm
long , free  parts of the  lateral sepals  oblong, slightly  convex  with recurved  margins, roundedtruncate in front, contracted into obliquely descending tails ca . 20 mm long; petals oblong, 3 mm
long and  1.3  mm wide, vari ably 2-3-apicu late  in front, with  a tall  lamell a withi n in  the anterior
half near the lower margin, the basal half of the petals narrower; lip oblong, ca. 3 mm  long and
ca.  1.9  mm  wide  in  the  middle  not expanded, strongly  convex  except for  the  apex, especially
towards the base, with  an upwards curved wing on  both sides near the middle , the lip  narrowed
in  front, decurved at the apex and there with  a distinct, torose callus; column of the genus, ca. 3 mm
long, arcuate, deeply concave on the front side with  prominent marg ins.
Colouring:  Sepals  yellow,  the  dorsal  sepal  with  3  purple  stripes  within , lateral  sepals  with  2
purple stripes  within ,  the  papillae  suffused  with  purple  towards  the  base,  petals  yell ow,  lip
yellOW,  densely  dotted  with  purple ,  column  yellow,  dotted  with  purple  in  part,  the  margins
borde red with purple.
