Two strikingly colored trumpet shaped flowers and 7 buds on 9 arched, unstaked inflorescences up to 22.5 cm long emerging from a well-grown 31 cm wide x 17 cm tall 27 growth plant grown in a sphagnum moss mixed with fired clay pebbles in a 9 cm clay pot; 2 cm wide x up to 17 cm long entire oblanceolate leaves borne atop short sheathed ramicauls; sepals white suffused fuchsia, ciliate on the interior, coalescing into dark fuchsia longitudinal veins visible both on interior and exterior, extending back into a 1.7 cm long sepaline tube, tube butter yellow basally suffused tangerine medially, dorsal sepal caudae fuchsia basally, tangerine distal third, lateral sepal caudae orange; petals, lip, and column minute, white, lip edged dark fuchsia; substance firm, texture matte; recognized for beautiful, brightly colored flowers whose markings and coloration are expressed on developing buds as well as the mature flowers; native to Peru.
