Found growing in the Andes mountains in southern Ecuador, where I saw it growing. Bought from Ecuagenera orchids. Also know by syn. Rhetinantha acuminata. Listed in Jay Pfhal's orchid species list. This orchid usually grows in a clump as does this plant.
