Small flowering plant with distichous-equitant,
laterally compressed acuminate to slightly curved tip leaves 4 - 10 cm long
mounted on ceramic water cooled 18 cm x 5 cm long cooled log; four
inflorescences with open flowers and three with emerging buds; sepals and
petals red-orange; anther cap yellow; segments too minute to measure; natural
spread 1.3 cm horizontal by 1.4 cm vertical. Plant indigenous to Vietnam,
Malaysia and Taiwan. Unique species rarely seen in cultivation
