Eight flowers and fourteen buds on twenty solitary, successive, inflorescences borne from reclining spathaceous bract at base of leaf; pedicel chartreuse, 0.6 cm long; ovary chartreuse, sub-carinate, 0.5 cm long; plant 38 cm wide and 18 cm tall comprised of 35 slender, erect ramicauls up to 20 cm grown in a 12 cm slatted plastic pot in sphagnum moss; leaves suberect, ovate, acute, 2 cm wide and 8 cm long cm, entire, rigid; sepals and petals burgundy, dorsal sepal ovate-triangular, subacute, concave; petals linear-lanceolate, terete, obtusely angled in the lower margin, acute, minutely pubescent; lateral sepals completely connate into an ovate, concave synsepal, obtuse, entire; lip white, mottled burgundy, minutely pubescent, trilobed, side lobes narrowly triangular, midlobe pandurate, with deep cavity in disc near apice; column white with burgundy overlay; anther cap white; substance firm; texture crystalline.
