Thirty-nine non-resupinate flowers and 27 buds on 66 inflorescences; well grown, symmetrical plant of 70 cm diameter and 45 cm in height grown with sphagnum moss in a 20 cm round plastic pot, almost all leaves bear sequentially flowering spathes; dorsal sepal chartreuse, overlaid maroon, 3 maroon stripes; lateral sepals fused, chartreuse overlaid maroon ,5 darker maroon stripes; petals maroon, lip dark maroon; column dark maroon, anther cap green, substance light; texture crystalline and pubescent; species from Ecuador; ID by STIF_________________________

What a beautifully grown plant! Under Acronia it would be A. cardiostola, but under Pleurothallis it would be P. lanigera (the glabrous, smooth one is P. cardiostola and the hairy one is P. lanigera) - but I don't know if anyone other than me would care about making the distinction. Luer considered them a single species under A. cardiostola.
