Eight flowers and ten buds on a uncommon plant 30cm wide x 20 cm tall, one erect inflorescence arising from media and one cut inflorescence up to 57-cm, with four fluted, compressed, ovate 2.9 x 4.5 cm pseudobulbs, leaf broadly elliptic 7.3 x 35cm, potted in a 10-cm clay pot containing bark and sponge rock; flowers stellate, cupped, dorsal sepal lanceolate, chartreuse, overlaid and striated tan; lateral sepals lanceolate, slightly falcate, chartreuse, overlaid and striated tan; lip convex, recurved, ivory, mid-lobe ribbed, chartreuse, striated tan, underside blushed; mentum tan, overlaid mahogany, 3mm long; column ivory, overlaid magenta; substance firm; texture matte, recognized for its rarity in cultivation.
