Seventeen
long spurred flowers and one bud on eighteen 9 cm inflorescences , evenly
bloomed around a 24 x 24 cm plant on stick mount; flowers green-white, spotted
pink-brown on all segments; lip overlaid yellow-green centrally with yellow
callus and side lobes; substance firm; texture matte. Plant from
Colombia; officially challenge the previous awards to this species.
Trichocentrum pulchrum Poepp. & Endl., Nov. Gen. Sp. Pl. 2: 11 (1836). This name is accepted.
