SITF has determined this plant to be Gravendeelia chamaelepanthes, not Trichosalpinx (Jun 2025). According to POWO, Trichosalpinx arbuscula is synonymous with Karma arbuscula; however, Adam Karremans, who is one of the describing taxonomists, identified this plant as a green form of Gravendeelia chamaelepanthes.
