SITF has determined this plant not to be Paphiopedilum leucochilum, but an unknown hybrid (Aug 2023).The excessive spotting on the pouch and a staminode form different from P. leucochilum do not match the description of P. leucochilum, which should have a pure white pouch; other species in the background possibly include P. bellatulum and P. godefroyae.
