June 2026
Featured this month
The Dendrobium series by Jim Cootes continues this month with Part 20: Dendrobium section Aporum. This curious group of species is considered to be a separate genus, Aporum, by some taxonomists but is currently accepted by Plants of the World Online as a section of an expanded genus Dendrobium. Regardless of where you put this group, these plants, with their unusual imbricated foliage, deserve a bigger presence in our collections. This month also concludes the series on Cattleya violacea Hybrids by Juraj Kojš with a lavishly illustrated survey of the hybrids of the 21st century.
