SITF has determined this plant to be Andreettaea macroblepharis, not A. claviculata (Aug 2026). We would like to thank Alphonso Doucette, the taxonomist who originally described this species and A. claviculata, for identifying this plant as A. macroblepharis. A. macroblepharis is a much larger flower, about 2-cm wide and A. claviculata is only about 0.76-cm wide. This flower measured 2.5cm x 3.2cm, which would agree with A. macroblepharis.
