Clowesia-thylaciochila-Jardin-botanique-de-Montréal-2022-09-19 *SITF has determined this plant to be Clowesia russelliana, not Clowesia thylaciochila (Jan 2023); these species are very similar; however, the lip pouch in thylaciochila extends to the rear instead of projecting forward as does C. russelliana and this plant, also the inflorescence is much more lax and the callus structure is different than in this plant; supporting photos may be found in the IOSPE, orchidroots.com, OW and other on-line sources.*
